If you’re wondering how hard it is to start moving your phone system to Microsoft Teams, we’re here to make it a little easier. 

We now offering a FREE TRIAL of Microsoft Teams Voice.  We’ll enable your Microsoft 365 tenant with full voice capabilities and one phone number, helping to further centralisie your collaboration channels into the Microsoft Teams app, making calling accessible on your desktop and mobile.

What’s included in the trial?

We’ll enable one person in your organisation to make and receive calls using either a new, temporary, phone number or by porting one of your existing numbers.  We’ll also include a calling plan which includes 60 minutes of outbound calling to over 70 countries and unlimited incoming calls for the duration of the trial.

Is there any cost to me for starting this trial?

Although Tranquil IT will absorb the cost of standing up the service, assigning a phone number and call plan to a user, you will be required to cover the cost of a Microsoft Phone System license, either BYO or we’ll add one to your tenant at a cost to you.  This cost varies depending on the licenses already assigned to your users, i.e. Business, Enterprise or non-Profit.

What if I want to add more users to the trial?

That’s no problem at all, we can add as many users to the trial as you like, however you’ll need to ensure these additional users are licensed and you’ll be charged for the additional call plans assigned to each of these users.  More details on the cost of the call plans can be found here.

If, after the trial, we decide to go ahead and migrate all our users, what costs are we liable for then?

As the service will have been established during the trial the only additional ongoing costs will be cost for a call plan for each user.  These costs can be found here.  You’ll also find the cost of migrating users, which, depending on the size of your organisation may also be free.

What makes you different to other phone system providers?

Although we provide our own voice service, through our work with other organisations we’ve implemented Teams Voice services using other providers.  A number of things that stand out for us in our service are:

  1. Organisations can mix and match call plans for their users, you don’t need to apply the same call plan to all users, low call users can be assigned a 300 minute plan, high users an unlimited plan, and really low users a line only plan.
  2. Our service offers Teams Twinning, this means that a migration to Microsoft Teams Voice isn’t a cut-over, we will continue to send the call to your old phone system and Microsoft Teams, this means the transition is seamless and a lot easier for users.
  3. If your organisation is multi-national we can provide you with phone numbers, or port your existing numbers, from not only New Zealand, but also Australia the UK and many more.
  4. No contracts!

How long does it take to enable Teams Voice on my tenant?

Once the Microsoft Phone System license has been added to your tenant and we have been given access, we can stand up the service within 24 hours.

What happens if I need support?

Although unlikely, our service has 24/7 support available, just give us call or e-mail at any time, night or day, and we’ll be there to help.

What about my meeting rooms?

Although meeting room technology isn’t included in the free trial, we can certainly help you out there, we can supply, fit and configure your meeting rooms with the latest technology, giving you a one-touch join experience with exceptional voice and video.
