Although it’s important to keep on top of your e-mail, it’s never been more important to take a break from them. The Outlook mobile app can help ensure your personal time stays personal by automatically preventing notifications of new e-mail during pre-determined times. To set a time, choose the clock icon from the profile page and allocate yourself some down time.
From Outlook, tap the Profile icon on the top left.
From the slide out menu, choose the alarm clock icon.
From the new options you can choose the account the schedule should apply to.
You can choose to disable notifications either based on time or on a schedule.
If you choose Scheduled you’ll be able to set the start and end times and applicable days.
Disabling notifications during quiet hours is not only available in the Outlook mobile app, you can set it up in the Teams app too, again select your profile icon and this time select Notifications.
